There is always something special about returning to a completed project once the spaces have settled into everyday life and natural rhythms have taken hold.   We recently spent the day in St Johns Wood photographing our completed project, The Willow, where KSR undertook the full refurbishment and extension of an existing private dwelling. Joined by photographer Boz Gagovski, our team chased the sun through the house, capturing how light moves across the finished spaces and documenting the layered details that make this home so unique.

We are thrilled to share an update from our Hampstead project, where major structural works are now well underway!

Work has officially commenced on site for our Grade II listed residence in North London, and it is exciting to see this project get underway.

Some projects come full circle and Blackbird House is one of them.   KSR first designed the architecture for the home in 2011. Ten years later, when the property was purchased by its new owners, we were invited back to design the interiors. . It was a wonderful opportunity to reimagine the interiors for a new family while remaining true to the original architectural vision. The result is a home that feels both familiar and refreshed, thoughtfully tailored to its new owners.

Work is well underway at The Row Residence, and it is rewarding to see this family home take shape.   Our team is now fully immersed in the delivery stage, working closely with our specialist consultants and contractors to ensure the architectural and interior vision is executed with absolute precision.

Akaya Horizon, our latest beachfront villa in Antigua, is a spectacular 22,000 sq ft residence, now shortlisted for the prestigious Design et al Awards 2026.

Joined by photographer Max Trafford, our Design Director Michelle Sweeney revisited the home to document the finished design, with this behind the scenes video offering a glimpse into the photoshoot process.

As our projects near completion, the KSR team takes the opportunity to visit site and experience the spaces coming together.   These visits offer a unique chance to step away from our desks and see the design come to life. Led by the project architects, the site tour gives the wider studio the opportunity to explore work across the practice and hear first-hand about the design decisions, challenges and key milestones that have shaped the journey.

We are delighted to announce that KSR Architects has secured planning permission for the sensitive restoration and extension of The Red House, a semi derelict Arts and Crafts residence in the St John’s Wood conservation area.

KSR is thrilled to announce that we have received planning permission for a family home in the heart of County Wexford, Ireland. Set in the Irish countryside, the design draws inspiration from the surrounding agricultural architecture, creating a connection with its rural setting.

KSR has recently received an enhanced planning permission for a development at 25 The Bishop’s Avenue, a road of international renown. Working with Michael Burroughs Associates, the original planning permission was inherited when our client bought the site and, with our knowledge of the area and market intelligence, KSR has maximised values with the latest enhancements.

We are delighted to announce we have received full planning permission for the refurbishment of a magnificent Grade II listed building.   Located on the Grosvenor Estate within the Mayfair Conservation Area, our plans focus on the interior architecture with minimal intervention to the grand external façade.   Removing the contemporary additions, introduced over past decades, our designs will reinstate the original features lost or considerably altered throughout all floors within the property.

As part of our continued commitment to social responsibility, KSR volunteered their time to create new rest and relaxation spaces for the hardworking staff at the NHS at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals. The scheme was set up by our good friends at Taylor Howes, and we hope to see the initiative rolled out across more hospitals throughout the country.
