Planning success for Grade II Listed Building

We are delighted to announce we have received full planning permission for the refurbishment of a magnificent Grade II listed building.

Located on the Grosvenor Estate within the Mayfair Conservation Area, our plans focus on the interior architecture with minimal intervention to the grand external façade.

Removing the contemporary additions, introduced over past decades, our designs will reinstate the original features lost or considerably altered throughout all floors within the property.

The building is considered to be of historical interest due to its connection with the architect Thomas Verity, Thomas Grosvenor and builders Green & Son of Hackney.

Aside from its architectural heritage, the distinguished address enjoys a fine literary pedigree. In the early 20th century, the building was owned by filmmaker Kenneth Macpherson and his wife Annie Ellerman.  The house was also allegedly frequented by writers, actors and socialites such as Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Jimmie Daniels and Peggy Guggenheim.

The thoughtful refurbishment will restore the property to its original splendour.

We are working with Martin Brudnizki Design Studio to deliver the interior design plus Regency Grove Consultants and NTA Planning Consultants.
