Woodside Park achieves planning permission
02 June 2020 / PlanningWe are pleased to have won planning permission to replace a single free-standing house, with 9 apartments in a new 3-storey contemporary building in Barnet.
The new building responds to the constraints of the existing corner site and condition of neighboring properties, creating a well proportioned and balanced street corner. We have developed a contemporary rural design with reference to traditional cladding techniques. Using clay tiles and brickwork we create a varied texture full of interest and tone that blends with the red London stock brick and weathers naturally. The design seeks to create a modern adaptation of this aesthetic in creating a contemporary form that is layered, crafted and textured with a striking yet contextual form.
