We are thrilled to share an update from our Hampstead project, where major structural works are now well underway!

Following several months of internal demolition and temporary works, the lower ground floor concrete slab is currently being cast, enabling the next stage of basement excavation to begin. We have also recently secured planning for a new build double garage on the site.

Dividing the project into two phases has allowed structural works to progress on site while our team develops the detailed internal fit-out in parallel, collaborating with renowned designer Michael Lewis.

The completed home will feature a substantial new basement with a swimming pool featuring an underwater glazed portal to a private entertaining area, alongside a comprehensive health suite with a gym, yoga studio, steam room, sauna, and beauty and massage facilities. Three generously proportioned bedrooms will be complemented by high-end artisan finishes and bespoke details by renowned artists.

Spanning five floors and approximately 1,100 sqm, including the new garage extension, this is a significant transformation.

We’re excited to see the project taking shape and look forward to sharing further milestones as works progress.

Progress On-Site for The Kenwood

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates from The Kenwood—a spectacular new-build private home that’s well underway on-site! This impressive property will feature a vast leisure basement, gracious living spaces, and 10 luxurious bedroom suites, including a jaw-dropping principal suite covering 115 square metres.

Securing the Future: Planning Permission for The Red House

We are delighted to announce that KSR Architects has secured planning permission for the sensitive restoration and extension of The Red House, a semi derelict Arts and Crafts residence in the St John’s Wood conservation area.

Behind the Scenes: Capturing The Willow

There is always something special about returning to a completed project once the spaces have settled into everyday life and natural rhythms have taken hold. We recently spent the day in St Johns Wood photographing our completed project, The Willow, where KSR undertook the full refurbishment and extension of an existing private dwelling. Joined by photographer Boz Gagovski, our team chased the sun through the house, capturing how light moves across the finished spaces and documenting the layered details that make this home so unique.

On-Site with KSR

As our projects near completion, the KSR team takes the opportunity to visit site and experience the spaces coming together. These visits offer a unique chance to step away from our desks and see the design come to life. Led by the project architects, the site tour gives the wider studio the opportunity to explore work across the practice and hear first-hand about the design decisions, challenges and key milestones that have shaped the journey.

Hampstead Home Granted Planning Permission

We’re delighted to have secured planning approval for the complete renovation and extension to a family home in Hampstead’s conservation area. This carefully considered design balances contemporary living with heritage sensitivity, overcoming a complex planning process in collaboration with Camden Council.
