Home Grown Talent!

A Good News Story to start the New Year!

We are really proud to see Korell, one of our placement students, working with the University of East London to help promote a career in Architecture to  young people who may not have previously thought of studying the subject. They are hoping to engage with, and hear voices, that are often underrepresented within architecture, helping to diversify the design profession.

The University of East London has helped me on my journey to becoming an architect, with great support and encouragement. Qualifying as an Architect is a dream of mine and I believe you can do whatever you put your mind to, with determination and hard work! Thank you UEL and KSR for helping put this great video together. I hope it inspires others from similar backgrounds to chase their ambitions.

At KSR we believe that in order to build an environment which meets the needs of a community, that environment must be designed by a team that reflects that society. We are committed to helping improve diversity and inclusion within architecture; through our corporate and social responsibility programme’s engagement with local schools and community, pro-bono work with vulnerable communities and links to the Women in Architecture network.
