Omar was born in Cairo, Egypt but has since lived and worked in four counties including Ivory Coast and South Sudan. He came to the UK to study architecture and has successfully passed the RIBA Part III course.
 
Omar heads up KSR’s Staff Group and is a member of the Sustainability Group, building on the knowledge he gained in his Master’s research. His ambition is to create designs that are environmentally responsible, future-ready, and considerate of whole-life carbon emissions.
 
In the office, Omar is working on a large-scale residential masterplan in Kent and the major refurbishment and extension of a family house in London. Outside of work, he is passionate about travelling and experiencing new cultures, particularly through their cuisines!
