Cate is on her year out placement with KSR, and has been using her design skills to develop façade designs and prepare visualisations for a large-scale mixed use/ residential development in Mayfair.
 
Passionate about community engagement and sustainable building methods, Cate volunteers on a local community build project, getting hands-on with natural materials and traditional construction methods at an educational community garden for local young people in King’s Cross. Her interest in retrofit and the circular economy arose from exploring reuse through ceramics and repair of a historical building in her undergraduate degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
 
In her spare time Cate enjoys yoga, painting, playing piano and guitar and spending time going on walks with her border collie.
